I'm considering changing
my Verizon plan to a simple cell phone plan, without a smart phone and
data plan. Just phone and text. It's less expensive, less WiFi, and
less being tied to my phone. This will also delay my FB swansong.
DO IT. I didn't pay too close of attention this summer, but I didn't see anyone else without a smart phone. Sure, the group texting becomes a drag, but it is much much better to be detached from all this BS. It's like walking around with a TV in your pocket. Defend it all you want, but it was intriguing to me how several days we came home from classes, and all of the sudden there was a house of individuals sitting alone on their phones, catching up on what they missed. FB swansong amen.
